Photo blog Field Condition posted an image on Instagram of the newly unveiled brickwork at 100 Franklin, highlighting the traditional masonry designs that architect DDG integrated into their design for the new buildings. Located on the site of a former parking lot, 100 Franklin is composed of two triangular buildings that maximize the lot’s narrow footprint to bring a collection of 10 full-floor luxury Tribeca homes to market. DDG, which was tasked with ensuring that their new buildings were appropriate for the historic neighborhood, used red bricks from Danish brickworks company Petersen Tegl to create the contextual facade.
